Smoking cessation within primary health care

The West Coast Primary Health Organisation funds medical centres and practices to offer subsidised smoking cessation programmes across the Coast. (Cost is $2.50 per week for an 8 week programme). The programme uses nicotine replacement therapy, patches or gum and one on one support for the 8 weeks of the programme. People can access the programme any time during the normal working day Monday to Friday.
