Youth Marketing & Communications, HSC

The major focus for HSC’s Youth Tobacco Control Programme is on reducing the incidence of young New Zealanders becoming addicted smokers. All of our work aims to de-normalise smoking, encourage cessation attempts, increase young people’s ability to resist tobacco and reduce exposure to smoking in the media and key youth environments. The Smoking Not Our Future campaign promotes these key messages to people aged 12 to 24 years via relevant high-profile music and media
personalities.
