My role is to continue to lead smokefree change within the Taranaki District Health board with a focus on Primary and Secondary care. I am responsible for facilitating hospital Smokefree systems to ensure effective Smokefree practice within our DHB.
I also support and work with other key stakeholders within Taranaki to develop a district wide action on tobacco, which includes reducing smoking initiation, increasing quitting attempts, and reducing exposure to secondhand smoke.
