Community and Public Health (Canterbury)

Our Smokefree staff aim to improve and protect the health of the population in our service area by reducing the harm from tobacco use and exposure to second hand smoke. Key projects include implementation of the Smokefree Environments Act, providing Smokefree signage, and encouraging the development of Smokefree Environments such as homes, cars and playgrounds. A division of the Canterbury District Health Board.
